Some Thoughts on Graphic Design
Graphic Design is an intermediary force—
(1) as a permeable membrane, as a translator, (2) is inclusive not exclusive, (3) as a means to bridge practices, themes, topics, philosophies, cultures, geographies, peoples, (4) as a translucent and flexible discipline, not bound to physicality, medium or technique, (5) is a process, a journey, the in-between; it does not have to be the start and the end, (6) employs specificities but does not enforce boundaries, (7) co-exists and it is symbiotic.
